Mississippi Spoken Word Artist C. A. Webb Returns to the Road with His METAMORPHOSIS Tour.
The full circle project that has taken C. A. Webb to Atlanta, Memphis, New Orleans and Montgomery has now prepared to push further to spread the good news of the arts.
May 29, 2004 -- In April 2004, MS spoken word artist C. A. Webb traveled to Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Tennessee to promote his debut spoken word cd METAMORPHOSIS and poetry chapbook by the same name. Now the METAMORPHOSIS TOUR continues, making this Webb's most ambitious project to date. Since 1999, over 23,000 have viewed work by C. A. Webb Come join the experience!
HOUSTON, TX.
The second leg of the METAMORPHOSIS TOUR kicks off in Houston, TX with C. A. Webb being at the Best Western Greenway Inn and Suites (2929 SW Freeway) on Saturday, June 12, 2004. There will be an art show from 4-7p.m. and a poetry reading at 7:30p.m.
CHICAGO, IL.
C. A. Webb and singer/songwriter Martha Simpson will be at the Best Western Grant Park Hotel (lakeside room, lobby level (1100 S. Michigan Ave) on Thursday, August 12, 2004, with an art show from 6-7p.m. followed by a poetry reading at 7:30p.m.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN.
C. A. Webb and singer/songwriter Martha Simpson will be at Best Western Castleton Inn (8300 Craig St.) on Friday, August 13, 2004, with a poetry reading at 7:30p.m.
CINCINATI, OH.
The final stop of the second leg of the Metamorphosis tour will be at the Best Western Springdale Hotel (11911 Sheraton Lane on Saturday, August 14, 2004. Webb and singer/songwriter Martha Simpson will host an art show from 5-7p.m. and a poetry reading at 7:30p.m.
In all of the above locations, Webb will have copies of the METAMORPHOSIS cd, the new "METAMORPHOSIS" poetry chapbook, as well as all of his color postcards, 2004/2005 calendars, color prints, and greeting cards available for purchasing. Admission is free to all events.
