February 8, 2004-Today iParenting Media announces the winners of its Best Products for 2004. IdentiteeTM, a Contact Card and Stick-On Pocket designed to make it faster and easier for parents and children to reunite whenever and wherever they become unintentionally separated, received an iParenting Media Best Products for 2004 Award in the safety category after being rigorously evaluated by the iParenting panel.

A vast array of products was submitted for consideration, ranging from top-of-the-line car seats and strollers to the latest DVDs, safety products and interactive toys. Each company submitted four identical samples of each product, which were then matched within iParentings database of hundreds of reviewers using iParentings proprietary technology. Experts, licensed childcare facilities and parents then reviewed the products and submitted a thorough evaluation of each item. Results were compiled and submitted to the iParenting Media Executive Committee for final approval. The end result of this comprehensive process is a list of award-winning products that parents can feel confident in purchasing for their families.

We were thrilled with the quality of the products submitted for our Best Products for 2004 Call for Entry, says Alvin All, chief executive officer of iParenting Media. After enduring rigorous testing and consideration, these items demonstrated excellence in their product categories, making them great purchases by todays parents.

As parents ourselves, we have always valued the solid guidance that iParenting provides regarding the juvenile products that we bring into our home and lives. We are thrilled that Identitee received this award and consider it further validation as to the products importance and ability to do what it is intended to do: help kids and parent reunite quickly if they become separated, said Marne Simpson, Inventor and Founder of Mugwumps, the creator of Identitee.

Identitee contains all the essentials for reunification in one smart little pocket that kids dont even notice. The parent or guardian simply lists two phone numbers on the Contact Card such as a mobile number and a home or hotel number, along with any special needs the child may have and a designated meeting place. Then they simply apply the adhesive Stick-On Pocket to the back of the childs clothing and seal the card inside. The parent keeps a handy Reminder Card listing what the child is wearing, the designated meeting place, and helpful guidelines to follow should they become separated from their child.

While it does not reveal any information until it is needed, Identitee is designed to be noticed quickly if a child is lost. When the child is found, the Contact Card can speak for the child and provide the person who finds them with clear instructions on what to do. Without this information, reuniting the child and parent can take an excruciating amount of time to co-ordinate. Identitee is designed to dramatically reduce that time.

Flat, lightweight, and simple to use, Identitee fits easily into a diaper bag, purse or pocket. Each Identitee is intended for one-day use and works great for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens. The product is also applicable to special needs adults such as those with Alzheimers disease or speech and hearing impediments. Anyone that may need help communicating their needs can be assisted with Identitee.

At $5.00 for a package of three, Identitee is easy to buy and very affordable. Bulk pricing is also available for retail promotions, large group and school use, fundraising campaigns, and event entry hand-outs.
